Turtle Trot Helps Amelia Island's Sea Turtles

The whole family can have some fun, whether you walk or run, so turn out to help support Amelia Island's sea turtles.  The Turtle Trot is organized by the Amelia Island Runners Club.   Something for everyone: walk 1.5 miles (non-competitive), kids 10 and under can run either a half mile or one mile, and runners can choose a 5K or 10K run.

Symphony By The Sea, Amelia Island

Enjoy a community concert "Symphony By The Sea,"  a fundraising effort to help support the Fernandina Beach Middle School symphonic band. The concert will be held at the new church facility, First Baptist Church of Fernandina Beach, at 1600 8th Street, on Saturday evening, March 28, 2009 at 7 pm. Tickets are $5 in advance or $7 at the door, and corporate sponsors are appreciated. Experience a great family event, mingle with neighbors, and enjoy an evening of music in support of these young student musicians.
