Life at the beach on Amelia Island is an ongoing process of discovery.  Of course, some things remain the same.  But it’s always interesting to see what’s happening at the beach.  Or just enjoy what’s not happening — the tranquility.

See the island from a different perspective just by taking a ride that you haven’t done before — whether powered by the sea breeze, horse power, pedals, paddles, or gasoline. (Maybe just driving to Amelia Island will be your “ride.”)

Watch the video below, ”Amelia Island Rides,” featuring land sailing, horseback riding on the beach, bike riding low tide at the beach, horse and carriage rides in historic Fernandina Beach, beach driving (4-wheeling around the southern tip in Amelia Island State Park), and riding the fairways via golf carts (after all, there are eight area golf courses).  Not to mention tours available on Polly the Trolley, and the elite rides that are the main attraction at one of Amelia Island’s top tourist events, the Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance, a rare collector automobile event held annually at the Amelia Island Ritz-Carlton and Summer Beach (Golf Club of Amelia.)  No matter your speed, Amelia Island’s got your ride!

Watch the video, and hope you enjoy a ride on Amelia Island soon…
