Fernandina Farmers Market, Amelia Island, Florida

Get your Saturday off to a good start by heading to Fernandina’s historic Centre Street to visit the Farmers Market on the corner of North 7th Street. Get some fresh veggies, tasty baked goods, flowers, organic products and specialty foods. The Fernandina Farmers Market is open every Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm (but sometimes the early bird gets the most popular goodies before they run out).

The hard working folks of the Fernandina Farmers Market won 2nd place in a U.S. farmer’s market competition by Local Harvest (“real food, real farmers, real community”) in 2009. Called a “green market,” the Fernandina Farmers Market does not include any arts and crafts vendors. Rather, the market’s vendors focus on produce, meats, cheese, honey, plants, and prepared foods.

Vendors regularly at the Fernandina Farmers Market include: Montego Bay Specialty Coffees & Smoothies, Boatright Farm, Cabbage Creek Farm, Kings Kountry Farm, Log Cabin Citrus Groves, Carter Produce, Ms. Christine’s Sprouts & Treats, Blue Planet Organics, Maria’s Bakery, Olive Affairs, Proper Pie Company, Jane’s Kountry Kitchen, Becky’s Brittle, Dips2Go, Neal’s Kettle Korn, Amo la Pasta, Olde Hearth Bread Company, Orchids by Del-Rei, Every Blooming Gardens, Seven Trees Nursery, Winter Park Honey, Spouse’s Cakes, Pies, Desserts & More, and Joy of Garlic.
