Learn from Florida Master Gardeners how to create a kitchen compost container and composter for your yard at FREE CLASS being offered by the Nassau County Extension in Yulee. Bring problem plant samples to clinics for diagnosis and solution (another free service available to Nassau County, Florida residents).

PLANT CLINICS OFFERED THIS MONTH AT THE NASSAU COUNTY, FLORIDA EXTENSION OFFICE IN YULEE

July 10, 2013 Landscape Matters Class: Composting

Master Gardener Joanne Roach will discuss composting and demonstrate how to create a kitchen compost container and composter for your yard. The free class starts at 10 am at the Yulee Extension office. Kitchen composting cans decorated by Master Gardeners will be available for a donation of $5 each. July 1st & 15, 2013 Plant Clinics

Becky Jordi, County Extension Director/Horticulture Extension Agent will conduct a Plant Clinic from 10 am until 2 pm at the Yulee Extension Office (A1A and Pages Dairy Road). All Nassau County, Florida residents are invited to bring plant samples showing problems in their landscapes. Problems will be identified and solutions offered for correction.
