A Veterans Day parade will be held in downtown Fernandina on Nov. 11th. Another special tribute is happening at Fort Clinch on Nov. 13th.
“CARS & CANNONS” — Vintage vehicles will be displayed across the parade grounds inside the brick walls of this historic fortress in Fernandina Beach.
The pandemic added an extra layer of appreciation for places like Fort Clinch, Amelia Island’s largest natural area.

Fort Clinch State Park visitation is currently at 50% capacity. As of May 21, 2020, the campgrounds reopened and some beach restrictions have been lifted.
Fort Clinch State Park reopened May 13, 2020 “for active recreation only.” Enjoy riding bicycles, walking along the beach, hiking trails, jogging, swimming and fishing.
